There are beauty therapists and beauty therapists. And then there is Sharon.
A visit to her salon is a relaxing and thoroughly enjoyable retreat from everyday life. Even if it's just for a manicure. Her 28-plus years' experience in the beauty industry is evident in everything she does.
Sharon completed her diploma in beauty therapy in 1996 and then worked in popular salons in Brisbane including Strathpine's Simply Elegant and Clayfield's Body & Beauty Retreat. She steadily built a large following of loyal clients and in 2009 opening her own salon, Refining Beauty by Sharon, in New Farm.
In 2016, she relocated her salon to a purpose-built, tranquil space attached to, but seperate from, her home. It is a calming beauty oasis in Carindale.
After years of working with different skincare products, Sharon settled on just three for her salon, Sothys, Priori and asap - because they consistently deliver results. And besides, these are the products Sharon uses on her own great skin.
Sothys specialises in hydration, anti-aging and sensitivity and the company's scientists work in conjunction with the University of Limoges in France to produce unique, effective formulations.
